Earth Day Giveaway

To celebrate Earth Day, which is on April 22, I am giving away this It’s Easy Being Green toddler T-shirt from my on-line store: Little Pumpkin Sweet Pea Designs:

The shirt is toddler size 18 months, and it is as pictured, in daffodil yellow.  All you have to do is leave a comment at the end of this post, telling me what you plan to do for Earth Day, or your tip on how “it’s easy being green.”  A post about this contest on your blog is appreciated but not required.

The giveaway will run from Sunday, April 6th to Tuesday, April 15th.  The winner will be selected by random.org at 11p.m. eastern time on the 15th, so make sure to leave a comment before then.  I will contact the winner via e-mail, and you should receive the shirt in time for your baby to wear it on Earth Day.  Even if you don’t have a toddler in this size, surely you can think of a certain little someone who this shirt would look great on for Earth Day.  It is unisex, so it will work for a boy or a girl.

Let’s all try to incorporate Earth Day every day- after all, we only have one planet and need to take care of it.  Good luck!

I love the shirt! We do quite a few things to be green- use our own cloth grocery bag, shop local produce, etc. I’m excited about my ‘next step’ towards green living though – I’m going to buy cloth napkins this week to cut back on paper napkins/towel usage. I’m trying to limit the paper consumption of our house.

cute shirt! i added a link to my contest page. 🙂
we recycle, use reusable bags, cloth napkins, cloth diapers/wipes, compost, buy organic when we can, use natural/gleen cleaning products, and more.
i’m looking forward to trying my own garden this year. i did container garden last year, but i’m trying to put one in the ground this time around. crossing my fingers that i can get stuff to grow and keep the dogs out of it! 😉

What a cute little shirt!

We recycle, use cloth shopping bags, we’ve already planted lettuce in our garden and plan on planting the rest of the garden in a few more weeks, use cloth napkins, etc.

Ooohh…that’s adorable! I’m all for saving the environment, and it saddens me when I see people who don’t love our planet 🙁
I’d love to win this cute tee for my nephew. Thanks so much for the chance!

We are still learning how to be green. Some recent changes I made were switching to cloth napkins (bought used at the local thrift store) and using cloth grocery bags. On Earth Day, I plan to post about what we have been doing and what we will do in the future to be greener.

I recycle, compost and grow a garden, make sure my dishwasher/laundry is full before running it, and use my own grocery bags. I’m turning green one step and a time!

Happy Monday! Every year, the garden club that I belong to plants some trees where they are needed in out town. For instance, we have planted trees at the Watershed, Library Park, a historic log cabin, etc. We also have a booth at the Watershed Earth Day Celebration and give out various small trees or our members perennials. Please enter me in your drawing. The t-shirt is adorable. Many thanks…..Cindi

Gardening with my two young children keeps me feeling green. I get to play in the dirt, work my body, grow food for my family, eat organic, waste nothing, teach my children, and feel connected with what it is to be a human being.

Cute shirt, would love to win! We are getting together with our playgroup to plant seeds in recycled containers and possibly do some local trash pick up as well. I love Earth Day!

We just switched to that “Green Works” cleaning stuff that is way better and safer than the regular stuff.

My son’s preschool is having an earth day celebration. I think they are going to make crafts out of trash and play games with sort of a carnival atmosphere. It sounds fun!
